D20 Test

A D20 Test is a check made by rolling a d20 and adding relevant modifiers to determine success or failure against a Difficulty Class (DC) or another creature's result.

The three kinds of D20 Tests are ability checks, saving throws, and attack rolls.

If the total equals or exceeds the DC (or the target's Armor Class, for an attack roll), the test succeeds.
